What is Bioinformatics?
Basically, Bioinformatics is the application of computers to biological questions or problems. But this is a very simple answer; it is slightly more complicated. For a more elaborate answer, take a look at Bioinformatics.org's FAQ.

Bioinformatics @ SJSU is a student-run website designed to serve as a forum for students and faculty interested in local bioinformatics and computational biology-related news and events.
